Johansson vs Zorn

Design for the exhibition catalogue for Johansson vs. Zorn at The Zorn Museum, Mora, Sweden. The exhibition explored a provocative dialogue with the legacy of Sweden’s most renowned artist, Anders Zorn (1860–1920), through a deeply personal narrative by Johansson. One of Johansson’s strategies was to overlay Zorn’s famous portraits with his own—and the town of Falun’s—signature red-orange color, creating a striking visual reinterpretation of the iconic works.
